Craziness on a trip home

However, the trip home was another story. We were supposed to leave Florida at 12 on Dec. 26th...but our flight got delayed about an hour. We finally got on the airplane around 1:30 and then got in the air by 2 pm. So, we arrived in Atlanta at 4...our connecting flight was supposed to leave at 4:30...no need to rush to the next gate though cause Atlanta was a mess and all flights were delayed at least an hour. There was some bad fog and low visibility in Atlanta. So, we found out our flight was to leave at 6. We grabbed some dinner and let the boys play a bit. Kevin went to get a snack and when he came back, he found out our flight was cancelled. Yes, cancelled...ugh...not real excited at that point. He went to customer service and found another flight leaving at 10pm. So, we decided it would be better to try and get on that flight instead of staying overnight and then trying again in the morning. We didn't want to get stuck in Atlanta for another day. The 10pm flight thankfully got us home but not for some more delays. We ended up finally leaving Atlanta at midnight and arriving in Ohio around 1:30 am. God was very good to us and I'm so thankful for that. We made it home safely and the boys did amazingly well. I was so impressed with them! And they have been sleeping well the last few days trying to catch up on their sleep!
