Well, the boys took a ride on the metro into Washington DC today!! The boys and I went with my mom to visit my sister in the city. She works in DC..so we took the metro in and had lunch with her. It was quite an adventure for us all! We were pretty wiped when we got home! The boys enjoyed the "train" ride for sure. Caleb especially liked when the "conductor" told us we arrived and when new people would get on the train with us! He just sat and watched everyone get on and off and had a great time! I was very thankful because it was 30 minutes to the city and 30 minutes back...so that was a lot of sitting time for my little ones. But, they did great! TJ even did fine also...he's a little more squirmy than Caleb...seeing as he is only 1 1/2...but, he did well playing with some toys and singing songs! It was so nice to see my sister and to be so close to her. She came over this past weekend also! The boys had a great time playing with her and going to the swimming pool!
The boys got to show off their new swimming skills to Grandma and Aunt Kristen. We have a very nice little community swimming pool in our neighborhood. What a blessing that was this weekend since it was in the 90's!!!
