Grandma and Grandpa Beeker and Sheri. We celebrated some family birthdays this weekend with the Beekers. Kevin's sister, Liz and her husband Andy, and Drew and Aaron came for the weekend for some fun cousin time and then Kevin's parents came for the day on Saturday for a little birthday party. We had a great time with the family!! The boys LOVED playing with their cousins...they had fun playing with adventure men in the basement, playing at the playground, chasing each other in the house, playing games, and just being boys!
On Friday, we went to Annapolis to get some ice cream...I have told you yet how much I love Annapolis. Its only 20 minutes away and is such a cute little town. We attend church in Annapolis so that is nice also! Then, Friday night we broke out our fire pit and had some smores. Yummy...Drew loves to make S'mores and greatly enjoyed that. Caleb went straight for the chocolate and I finally caught him after quite a few mouthfuls of chocolate bars...just like his momma would do : ) And TJ just sat on the swing very far from the fire...I think he has finally learned to stay away from hot things...unfortunately he had to learn the hard way by touching the grill top in Ohio and then touching the hot lawn mower here in Maryland. He learns the hard way apparently...just like his daddy! : )
On Saturday, the boys played outside and took a nature walk collecting all kinds of sticks and leaves and acorns....which I am still finding in Caleb's pockets. This gave me a chance to get the birthday cake made and cornbread ready for dinner. Chili and cornbread and chocolate birthday cake for dinner! Yummy...it must be fall!

Sounds like you guys had a great time celebrating birthdays and just being with family! Your boys are so fortunate to have boy cousins to play with. How great for them! It looks like they had a blast and got lots of kisses from the grandparents. :) They are getting so big! And I have yet to actually "see" them! :) Someday...
