TJ is 2

We celebrated TJ's 2nd birthday on Saturday. He is really our leap year boy so he doesn't technically have a birthday, but of course we still celebrate it! Our day started out with TJ being able to eat half of a flintstone vitamin. He has been asking for the last few months to eat one like brother, but we told him he had to wait until he was 2. So, Saturday morning started off exciting getting his vitamin. Then, we went to Kevin's parents house for the day and Kevin's sister and her family came. My sister and cousin and his fiance, also came over. It was a nice family party! We ate lunch then played 2 intense games. One was to guess how many M&M's were in the jar...Caleb won that and no he didn't help me put them in the jar either. And then we played a dress up relay game which ended up being quite fun. The boys had fun and so did the adults. Mostly the boys just played with Grandma's toys and with TJ's new toys. They had a nice time with their cousins!

I made cupcakes and a yummy mint dessert. It is a great recipe from our friends in Ohio...thanks Bissons! They know how to make desserts for sure! Everyone enjoyed them! We hung out while the boys tried to take naps, didn't really work, but they at least rested. Then, we headed home. It was a very nice day, I was a bit worn out from getting it all ready on Friday, but that's what a Sunday nap is for after church. And well, honestly a Monday nap also : )

Enjoy the pics!

Looks like TJ had a great birthday! I wish we could have been there. I'm glad you were able to spend the day with so many family members, what a blessing! Do you want to bake for Aya Jo's birthday in June???? Hehe.
