We had two special surprises from friends this past week. One of our friends from Germany sent us a package of nice gifts. They sent TJ a velcro ball game and Caleb 3 Pooh puzzles which he can do by himself. They also sent us some yummy German cookies and chocolate!! We are very thankful for this great package. I do miss Germany a great deal especially around Christmas time. The Germans do Christmas really well. They have awesome Christmas markets with yummy German food and wonderful music. They also celebrate well with their families. They are very family oriented people. These friends that sent us this package had us over the day after Christmas for a yummy meal. That year, my sister and cousin came to visit so they went to our friends house also. It was great fun. We miss them greatly.
Our other friends came to visit us on Sunday, Jan. 2nd after church. They are good friends with my sister and we met them a few years ago when we visited my sister. Their little boy is almost a year old and a cute little guy. It was very nice to spend some time with them and see their little Joshua getting bigger. The boys had a fun time playing with them also...they are so great with kids.
