A little snow and a few visitors

We had a little bit of snow a few weeks ago. I honestly can't remember what day it was, but it was quite pretty. I had no clue it was coming. But, I don't check the weather...normally Kevin tells me what the weather will be like the next day. I guess he forgot to tell me. We were playing outside...I didn't realize it was 30 degrees outside...it did seem quite chilly when we were out there. But at this time of the year, it always seems quite chilly to me so I just make myself be cold so that my boys can play outside. Anyways, as they were playing in the backyard, little snowflakes started to fall on us. We were out in the little flakes for a little bit, but then we were planning on going to the library. The snow started to accumulate during nap time....which is a great time for it to come since I can sit and relax while watching it fall. It was not a lot of snow, but it was pretty and it stuck on the ground.

This Monday on MLK day, we had my sister, my cousin and his wife over for dinner. It was wonderful having them over. We hadn't seen them since Thanksgiving!! We had ham, potatoes, pineapple pudding, green beans, and bread for dinner. Then, we had chocolate chip cookies for dessert. The boys were so excited to see them. At breakfast, Caleb said, Mama, I'm so excited, I just can't wait!! They got to wrestle with Uncle Mike, sing songs and talk a bit with Aunt Anne and Aunt Kristen. Abigail got lots of snuggles with Uncle Mike and even said his name!! Its always so heartwarming to spend time with family and for the kids to get to know them better! We are so thankful to be close to family! Enjoy the pics!

Yay! I hope you are getting used to, and possible liking, the cold now! The snow is beautiful!
