This year is the first year we did a friends birthday party for the boys. We decided it would be fun to have one for them this year. And because the boys are 14 months apart and have the same friends, we smartly decided to have one party for both of them. We did it at the Bowie City Gym. Caleb had basketball practice there in November and December. The children shot baskets, chased balls, and got worn out. Then, we had Chik Fil A delivered to the gym in a meeting room and had lunch and cupcakes. We had 16 children and 9 adults. The boys were so excited to play with their friends and it was nice to chat with their parents a little as well.
We brought our camera and video camera with us and charged both of them, but forgot to put the battery in the camera. So, we didn't get pictures of the party, but we got video of it. Oops! : ( We did have a few presents for the boys to open up at home. They got flight suits. So, we got pictures of the boys in their flight suits at home. We have those pictures to share. I wish we would have had the camera at the party, but oh well!
