Florida-Part 2 (Disney)
We spent 11 days in Florida. 8 days at my parents and then 3 days at Disney. We were a bit wiped out when we got home from our trip. We flew into Ft. Laud and then flew out of Orlando to eliminate extra driving. That worked out well. The first day of Disney we went to Animal Kingdom. It was very cool. I had never been there before. The kids really enjoyed it. The safari was fun and cool to see all of the animals. We also saw the Lion King show which was also fun! Abigail loved Disney as much as the boys. I was a little surprised cause I thought she would be too young for it. But, she would point at all of the characters and pointed at everything in Its a Small World. She also liked Buzz Lightyear! And loved seeing Mickey and Minnie. She didn't necessarily know any of these characters, but now she does. : )
On the second and third day, we went to the Magic Kingdom. We went on the Buzz ride, its a small world, drove the cars, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Mickey's Philharmonic, Country bear jamboree, and Winnie the Pooh. We went on a few other ones, but I can't remember. We also had dinner with the Pooh characters. So, we got lots of pictures with the characters. After the Winnie the Pooh ride, you exit through a shop with lots of Pooh stuff. Abigail didn't make it out of the shop. She headlocked 2 pooh bears and wanted to walk right out of the store. Of course, Papaw is very loving and told Abigail she could get 1 pooh bear. So, we put one back and she proceeded to grab it back and tried to get 2. She was allowed 1 despite her efforts to bring 2 home with her. She loves stuffed animals and sleeps with 5 of them now...even when she is in her pack n play. So, the boys also got an animal as well. TJ got Tigger...hmm...interesting since he is definitely my Tigger like child and Caleb got Eeyore...he's a little Eeyore as well!! : ) These are very loved and treasured animals...they sleep with them every night and must have them for bed!
On the second night, we stayed for the light parade and saw some of the fireworks as well. We left before the fireworks ended which was very good...cause it might have taken us a really long time to get home with everyone else. It was very busy...everyone's spring break. But, we did well considering it was so busy!
