Happy 95th Birthday, Poppy!!

My grandpa turned 95 this past weekend and my whole family was together for about an hour.  Mark and his family and Tommy and his family traveled up here for the weekend.  Well, Tommy and Jenny only made it up for a little over an hour cause Jordan had just got back from a trip on Saturday night.  But, it was nice to see them for that little time and get a family group photo.

Mark and Bonnie stayed with us for the weekend.  And our kids had sooo much fun together.  It was so fun to see them play together and just enjoy being around each other.  We went to our neighborhood pool on Saturday so that was nice since it was hot.  Then, Sunday we went to Mike and Anne's house for the bday party.  Friday night, my mom, Kevin, Bonnie and I went to the Marines Barracks parade which is a super special concert with the Marines drum and bugle corp, Marines band, and Marines silent drill.  It was really awesome.  If you ever visit DC, you'll have to try and go. You have to get special reservations though so you need to do some prep work on that.  We had my babysitter watch all 6 kids.  She is pretty impressive for sure!!

We have VBS this week with our church and so we have been busy with that. Its been a little intense, but the kids are loving it. I'm teaching 2nd grade with a friend and that has been fun.  TJ is officially in VBS this year with the 4 year old class and really loves to be a part of it and get a book.
