Boxes, boxes, boxes

So, our house is full of boxes right now.  We had packers come on Friday and they did an excellent job packing up all of our stuff, well almost all of it.  They were nice and left us our kitchen stuff so we could eat at our house for the weekend. Then, they will come back on Monday and finish up the kitchen and any other random things that were missed.  The moving van will come either on Tuesday or Wednesday and put everything on it.  Then, Thursday cleaners and carpet cleaners will come and take care of that...Kevin also needs to do a little spackling and painting.  We are staying with Kevin's parents this week until we hit the road on Sunday, July 29th.  Yep, we've got a van full of stuff, 3 children, and 2 adults to drive across the country.  We covet your prayers greatly! We will be stopping and visiting a few people on the way.  We are very excited to see some friends and to get a day to not be driving! We plan on arriving in Las Vegas on Monday, August 6th.  In case, you didn't know we are moving to Vegas...yep, it was a bit shocking for us at first as well!  But, we know God has great plans for us there and are trusting Him for our time there. 

We went to church today and said goodbye to our church family! Wow, what an amazing church family He blessed us with here in Maryland.  They have prayed with us and for us, taught us about Jesus, played with us, talked with us, shared meals with us, and loved on us just as Jesus would! All 3 kids have had such wonderful friends their age.  We will greatly miss everyone!  We will also miss our neighbors and neighborhood. We loved where we lived here in Maryland and enjoyed getting to know our neighbors.  It has also been such a blessing being close to family here.  We are thankful to get some time with most of them this week before we depart!
