We have been greatly blessed with a wonderful family here in Las Vegas. They actually came from Maryland at the church we attended when we lived in Maryland. We did not know them in Maryland. They knew some of our friends in Maryland. They got in touch with us before they moved and they found a house one street over from us. So, we have made instant friends with them. And they have been a huge blessing to our family. They attend the church we go to here and are also in Classical Conversations with us. Our children are similar in ages as well. They have an 8 yr old boy, 6 yr. old boy and a 3 yr. old girl. My children love to play with them.
They have been a great help since the baby has been born as well. Heidi, the mom, has taken one or more of my kids for a few hours so I can take a nap or just have a little break. She has also worked on CC material with the boys. They are learning a lot. Heidi even had a birthday party for me...it was with both of our families...ok...it was for me and her husband, his birthday is the day after mine. But, still I felt very special! Here are a few pics from the party!
Caleb had to write a story about someone who had been kind to him. He wrote about Mrs. Sineath.
Oh yeah...that is a wig Marty got for his birthday...he does not have long hair. The kids thought the wig was fun and I think Marty did as well. : )
