We saw a fireworks display on July 3rd. The kids really enjoyed that. And even Nathaniel stayed up for it. So they got to see both a real display and do our own with our friends.
There are a few things that I miss when it comes to where we live and local laws, one is doing sparklers. Most of the neighbors do them and their own firecrackers and everything else, but we usually go to bed. No, we always get to sleep, though. :) Did Nathaniel enjoy them? When we went to the base's fireworks, there were some friends from church there, and the kids gave a very fun commentary. :)
