Our adventures for the month of August!

Here are some pics from the month of August.  Before we moved, we had a pretty good little routine for the summer. We would play in the morning and Nathaniel would take a nap, then the boys had swim practice at the Y from 11-12. So, I would put Abigail and Nathaniel in childcare at the Y while I worked out.  Our good friends would do the same and so Abigail and Nathaniel had friends to play with.  Then, the Y had free lunch for any child at the Y. So, we would feed the kids lunch then head home. There are a few pics from the boys eating lunch. They were usually pretty hungry from swim practice! :  )

My mom and I drove from Las Vegas to Ft. Lauderdale, Fl in the two cars and Kevin and my dad and the kids flew in an airplane. Yes, I left my children to my dad and husband and drove across country! My mom and I were looking forward to time together!! We did great! We did it in 4 days and so it was pretty tiring! The kids and men did great on the airplane!!!  We spent a week at my parents in Ft. Lauderdal and then went on vacation in Ft. Pierce for 2 weeks with my parents and my brother and his family and my aunt and uncle and my cousin and his family! It was a wonderful vacation.  We went to the beach, pool, played tennis, took walks, played lots of card games and played with cousins!! So fun! Caleb learned a few new card games....he really likes Punce now (which is also Dutch Blitz).  He does pretty well!!

So we are now in Sebring, Fl and started school.  We are trying to get a little routine down with school and going to the Y and doing our homeschool group.  We went to the children's museum the other day and that was fun.  We have swam in our pool a little also. Our house is coming along...we can't wait to move in. We will see...hopefully only a few more weeks.
