August and September

In August, we went on vacation with my parents and my brother and his family to Hutchinson Island, off of Ft. Pierce.  My aunt and uncle and my cousin and his family were there also.  We were really looking forward to lots of beach time and pool time and hanging with our family.  We got sick 10 of the 14 days on vacation. It was pretty rough.  We still did get time with family....it was a little limited...but we had a good time when we were not sick. Then, we started school 2 weeks after we got back from vacation.  Our homeschool group started as well....love our homeschool group. It is such a blessing for all of us. I am teaching a class again and enjoying that.  Nathaniel is learning some of the songs we sing for our group....its pretty entertaining to hear him sing them.

We celebrated Nathaniel's birthday and my birthday in September.  Kevin and I went away for Labor Day while my parents watched the kids!!! Yay! We went to Sanibel Island and it was incredibly relaxing. Nathaniel had a Paw Patrol birthday. It is a tv show with dogs. And so he got some stuffed animal dogs for his birthday and some books. We went to Disney on my actual birthday. It was quite hot and incredibly humid. But, we still had a fun time. Soccer season has started and so Saturdays are spent at soccer games. Kevin is coaching Abigail's team and the boys team.  TJ broke his arm climbing down his ladder to his bunk bed going to the bathroom. :  /  Bummer for him...he has 10 more days wearing his cast...and then another week after that before he can play in a soccer game. Of course, he kicks the soccer ball around with Caleb and other activities outside.  He is quite capable with only one arm.
