Before our move

We decided to stop and see quite a few friends and family before we got on the airplane and moved across the Atlantic Ocean. We said goodbye to our friends at CC then said goodbye to our church friends and our great friends the Tormeys. They became our best friends in Alabama. We are so thankful for their family! How fun is it to do life with another family and be such great friends with them!

From Alabama, we drove to Jacksonville to drop Kevin's car off so it could be shipped here. (We got it on Thursday last week) Yay!! Then from there we drove to Orlando to visit with my parents and go to Magic Kingdom, Sea World, and Aquatica. We had great times at the parks and with my parents. We were also blessed to have some friends visit us in Orlando. Our neighbors from Sebring, Mike and Kim came to visit and we had fun playing cards with them and chatting. Then our friends the Stewarts came to swim at the hotel pool and have lunch! Yay for fun with friends! My best friend from growing up, Mere, came to visit also. She taught the kids how to make friendship bracelets. (I learned also) And we were able to have lots of talking as well. Lastly, our neighbors from Sebring, Michelle, Nick, and Sofia came to play and eat. We sooo loved having friends come to visit us. What a blessing from the Lord!

From Orlando, we drove to Savannah and stayed with our friends, the Sineaths. We were neighbors with them when we lived in Las Vegas.  We were in church and CC with them plus the kids were really good friends. It was fun to see the kids play together again and have such a great time. We didn't see Abs and Elizabeth for most of the time....they were up in the girl room having a wonderful girl time! : )

We then visited my brother and his family in N. Carolina and the kids were not ready to leave...they were having so much fun with their cousins! They also love playing with their dog and cats. They had 10 kittens in the basement...very fun for my kiddos who don't have any animals. Abigail had a wonderful bday party with Tommy, Jenny, and the kids. That was super awesome of them to do that for her! She loved it!

Then, we made it to Kevin's sister's family in Richmond and swam at the pool and played lots.  The kids learned to play Spades and therefore, they played Spades most of the time. So very fun to have cousins!!  Liz had made brownies for Abs bday so Abigail had another bday celebration. I think the boys counted that was her 4th one. Haha!! Maybe its not so bad having your bday when you are moving!
Our last stop was at Kevin's parents. We were able to play lots of games with them. Nathaniel learned how to play lots of new games now that he is getting bigger. (Well, he thinks he is 10) We had lots of yummy food as well and yummy pies! We always get spoiled at their house. WE were able to see my sister and cousin, Mike and his family and my Aunt and Uncle so that was a treat!

Lot and lots of fun visits with family and friends! Can't wait for them to come and visit us here. Beeker B&B will be open on Aug. 12th when my parents are the first visitors! So, figure out the dates you can come and let us know! We just signed rent for a large house so there is plenty of room.
