TJ is one

TJ turned one years old this weekend! I really can not believe he is already 1. He was only 7 weeks old when we moved from Germany back to the states and now he is walking and trying to keep up with his brother. Now that he is walking he uses Caleb to help him stand so he can get walking...and it has turned into a fun game that they enjoy playing. Pretty much TJ uses Caleb to balance and ends up tackling Caleb. They laugh and do it over again. I didn't think they would start tackling at such a young age, but they are full up boys. They even did this rough housing at nursery at church the other day...we'll see how long they are allowed to do it at church. : )

TJ also says mama and dada and will repeat the beginning of a few words. He is definitely not my little baby anymore...its sad, but exciting at the same time. I miss my little baby, but I enjoy watching him grow too. He is still very much my cuddler and hugs and kisses boy! So that is nice! TJ also loves to play in their wagon and have Caleb pull him around. He only eats food that he can feed himself...he is way done with being fed.

We had our neighbors over to help us celebrate TJ's birthday last night. I made apple cake and we had ice cream also. TJ seemed to like the cake pretty well and Caleb had 3 helpings of ice cream! We opened presents from family members and the boys enjoyed that also. TJ got some instruments from my parents and a fun pull duck from Tommy and Jenny. They all enjoyed playing with the new toys. The first thing Caleb said when he woke up this morning was "Andrew, TJ"....Andrew is our neighbor next door. I asked Caleb if he enjoyed the party last night...he did! And so did TJ!!!
