Kevin parents came to visit during Kevin's spring break last week. The boys had a great time. Caleb would wake up from his nap or in the morning and say, "Nama and Grandpa downstairs." Skype is a really nice program cause Caleb remembers his grandparents much easier when they come to visit since he gets to see them on the computer. Both boys warmed up to Nama and Grandpa Beeker very quickly!
We pretty much played at home and the playground all week and spent lots of time hanging out and talking! It was a nice relaxing visit. I'm very thankful to have such nice in laws. I enjoy when they come to visit us!
It was also an extra treat cause Kevin and I stayed at a Bed and Breakfast on Wednesday night. So, we got 24 hours of relaxation and no responsibility. It was AWESOME!! We went to Panera for lunch...which was nice to eat so leisurely. Then, had massages in Lebanon, Ohio. It was about a 40 minute drive from our house. We had a nice dinner with a very yummy dessert. It was called the Puff. The Bed and Breakfast also had a little heart cake waiting for us in our room. As soon as I saw it, I asked if it was real and if we could eat it. They looked at me a little strangely and said Yes of course!! I was sold at that B&B for sure! My husband did great. In the morning we had a candlelit breakfast. Kevin did some reading and I took a nap. Then, we headed home. Kevin missed the boys too much and wanted to eat lunch with them...I missed them, but was enjoying the break. So, after we put them down for naps we went shopping!
So, not only are Grandparents super fun for grandkids, but also for mommy and daddy! The boys did great while we were gone and that made the trip even more relaxing! I'll post pics as soon as I can!

Sounds like you and Kevin had a wonderful and relaxing time! And I'm sure the boys had a blast with their grandparents. I'm so glad you were able to get away and have so much fun! I can't wait till we can go do fun stuff WITH you guys! Hehe. :) I miss you Mommy Friend!
