Just a tad bit of snow : )

If you have been watching the news today, then you have seen all of the snow. And yes, we really have that much snow...we think about 30 inches at our house. Craziness for sure! It started yesterday at noon and is still going as I type. Last night after it had snowed for about 6 hours, I asked Kevin if it was still snowing and he said yes, honey, it will be snowing for at least 24 hours. Well, he's right, its still snowing! I did my best to take some pictures...Kevin started shoveling out by our garage and got a little bit done. Our neighbors said that we were getting it so badly because we missed the last big storm when we were in Florida. We did enjoy watching the snow storm on the weather channel in December in Florida. But, watching it from our window is fun also. We wanted to take the boys out for a little...TJ doesn't like to keep his mittens on so he didn't enjoy it very much. He lasted 10 minutes...Caleb enjoyed helping Kevin shovel. Of course, its a little difficult for the boys to play in the snow since we have so much...they can't exactly walk in it. We'll see...Monday, might be a better day to play in the snow.

However, both of my boys are also sick..we have spent the whole week pretty much inside except going to doctor's appointments. TJ had an ear infection and we got him antibiotics on Monday, then Caleb got worse as the week went on and he got an ear infection and got antibiotics on Friday. Both boys are feeling much better today, but still not the greatest...hopefully in a few days we can get healthy. I have also caught what the boys have, thankfully not as badly as they have it.

Wowie!!! That's a LOT of snow!!! Even if it gets sunny, that will be sticking around for a while. Hopefully TJ will learn to keep his gloves on so he can enjoy the snow too. Aya is the same way, doesn't like to keep the constricting gloves on but also doesn't like cold hands. Silly kiddos. :) I hope you all start feeling better soon...it's no fun being sick, and it's especially no fun to have sick kids. We'll keep you guys in our prayers. Miss you Mommy Friend!
