Yorkshire pudding

I did it!! I made some yummy yorkshire pudding!! I thought it was going to be harder than it was. The recipe had said that it can be a little tricky for them to rise, but I think it turned out pretty well. And my mom reminded me that if it doesn't look pretty that's okay cause it will still taste good.

So, what is yorkshire pudding? Its like a puffed dough bread kind of thing...don't know how to describe it, but my grandma used to make it when she made a pot roast in the crockpot with mashed potatoes and a veggie!! I've been craving it lately for some reason and so I decided to try and make it. Yummy!!! I was very excited for it to turn out and to make a meal that my grandma used to make!

We've never made yorkshire pudding. It looks really interesting!! Does it have any spices in it?

It doesn't have any spices, just flour, whole milk, eggs, and salt and you have to heat oil in the pan in the oven before you put in the ingredients...I did however see a cooking show on pbs where they made it with spices so it sounds like you could put spices in it if you want. And my recipe for it is in the recipe book under breads. : )
