Last year when we moved here in August, the tenants before us had planted a garden and we reaped the benefits. It was so awesome. We had fresh green beans every week and tomatoes. So, we wanted to try and plant some things to enjoy again. Kevin has always wanted a garden....I was never really into it until we were able to eat all of the yummy veggies last year. So, we got started on picking weeds and getting it ready a few weeks ago. Kevin went to the store and bought some seeds then bought some plants at the farmer's market. I had to convince him not to buy anymore and that we had plenty. So, we started with tomatoes, green beans, watermelon, zucchini, basil, cucumbers, and strawberries. We have plenty that's for sure and we'll see how they all turn out.
Here are the pics of some of them growing...Caleb especially loves to help water them and both boys love to watch the seeds grow!
