Thanksgiving:Food, Family, and Fun

We went to N. Carolina for Thanksgiving this year. We left on Wednesday morning and came back on Saturday night late. Thankfully, we had good travels both ways. The boys listened to books on cd, colored pictures, and played with toys on the way to N. Carolina. Then, they ate dinner and watch some videos on the way back. TJ fell asleep first in the car at 10 pm, Caleb fell asleep at 10:30 and then Abigail fell asleep at 11:05. We arrived home at 11:20.

There were 23 of us at Tommy's house on Thursday for Thanksgiving. There was lots of food and lots of cousins playing outside. The weather was great the whole time we were there. It was nice that the 9 grandkids could play outside so much! On Friday, we went to a park near Mark's house and played there for about 4 hours. Then, we went to Mark's and let the little ones nap while we hung out. That was really fun to get some quality time with his family! Unfortunately, baby Grant and Megan got sick Friday evening and so they stayed home while we went to Tommy's. We had fun doing karoake with Aunt Kristen, Aunt Caz, and Jordan and Lauren. Abigail enjoyed using the microphone!

On Saturday, we had family a whiffle ball game then had burgers that Tommy grilled out. Papaw, then took some of the grandkids bowling. My boys couldn't wait for that and had a great time with Papaw and Kevin. Papaw also let them play some arcade games which was a nice treat! Then, we headed over to have Chik fil A with our friend Handley and then headed home. We stayed in her 2 bedroom townhouse while she was in Georgia and that was a huge blessing for us!

We are very thankful that we could go to N. Carolina to be with the family this Thanksgiving! It was so much fun to watch all of the cousins playing together. Here are a few quotes:

Abigail practiced saying everybody's name in the car ride home. She is getting good now.
Caleb said, "Baby Grant is so cute."
TJ said, "Can we play with Bryce's car?"

So, our family was greatly blessed to be with the Fagley family! And Grandma and Papaw said they had the best time of all!!!
