TJ

On Tuesday this week, we went to a friend's house to have lunch and play. We went to the playground and TJ fell off a zipline type equipment. He broke his arm. It was the humerus bone. So, we took him to the ER and they put a bandage and sling on him until today. He had to have surgery this morning to set the bone back in place. They used pins to help with that. He will have a soft cast for now until the swelling goes down then in about 2 weeks he will get a hard cast on.

He is doing fine. The surgery went well this morning. He is in a bit of pain and very tired. Thankfully, he is napping now and getting good rest. We pray his recovery goes well and that the pain will subside. He has been a real trooper all week.

Here is a picture of him before the surgery. We made mini apple pies on Wednesday after we read How to make an Apple Pie and See the World. Its a really cute book. And it was something that was fun and TJ was able to make his little pie as well. So, I was glad we made them. They were also very yummy!!

My goodness! That is scary. I'm so glad he is going well. Broken bones are no fun. Poor thing. I can't believe he had to have surgery. That was a bad break. How is Mommy holding up?

Mommy is holding up okay. Thankfully, Kevin has been able to take a little time off to help out. TJ seems to be feeling better each day.
