Some of our friends from Ohio came to visit us last week. They came on Tuesday and left on Sunday. We had an awesome visit with them. We are so glad they came! There are 10 children in the family...6 of the children came. We did lots of fun things with them. We went to Annapolis the night they arrived and watched the Navy Band play downtown. Then, they went into DC to do some museum seeing. We went into the city with them on Friday and went to the National Building Museum. They have a little play area for kids ages 2-6 and right now they have a Lego Exhibit with legos that you can play with also. So, that was a good museum for our family to attend. The boys had a great time taking the metro and playing at the museum. Abigail enjoyed the large open space at the museum to practice her walking.
We also played lots of Wii games, lots of board games, and sang in the evenings before bed. The boys particularly enjoyed wrestling and playing rough with the 2 boys that came. Caleb learned a new game called War. We of course also made lots of yummy desserts!! It was very fun to hang out and spend time with all of them. We are so thankful they came to visit with us. We hope for more visits!
